Deal the World Series of Poker
Seven weeks. A hundred bracelet events. And it all runs on dealers. The World Series of Poker needs about 1,700 dealers every summer, and year after year it has struggled to find enough good ones. Its own vice president has said they "went everywhere we could think of to find dealers," and in 2026 the Series started letting players rate dealers so it can reward the best. Quality dealers are in genuine demand — at the Series and in poker rooms all year round.
Don't want to deal full-time? Work the Series a few months out of the year, every year, and bring home around $20K each summer.

How WSOP dealers get hired
The WSOP is always looking for good dealers, and hiring for the summer opens months before the first card is dealt. Here's how it works in recent years, and where we come in.
Get your dealing ready
Learn the games and the procedures at home with your kit, your coaches and your fellow students. Finish with a final audition and an earned certificate of course completion, so you're ready before you apply.
Apply online
Applications go through the Caesars careers site, usually early in the year. You must be 21 or older to deal in Nevada.
Virtual interview
The old live dealing audition has been replaced by a phone or video interview. Know your game rules and dealing procedures cold.
Orientation in Las Vegas
An in-person orientation before the Series: badge, uniform, payroll, required training, and Nevada gaming registration with fingerprints and a background check.

About seven weeks of full-time shifts, from late May into July — and a summer in Las Vegas.

Do I need any experience?
No — you don't even need to know how to play. We start with the rules of the game and how poker is played, then move on to holding the deck and pitching your first card, all the way up to running a full table. You'll learn the standard games dealers deal every day, with the opportunity to learn every variant of poker.
What do I need besides the kit?
A table to lay your topper on, and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a steady internet connection for live coaching and video uploads. Everything else comes in the kit.
How much will it cost?
Pricing will be announced when doors open. Pre-order discounts will be available, and everyone on the waitlist hears about them first. One part-time summer at the Series can pay for the course many times over.
How long do I have access?
For life. Your course, updates, student store discounts and our support never expire. Come back after a month or after ten years in the box, and we'll be here to answer your questions in real time.
How old do I have to be?
To deal in Nevada, including at the WSOP, you must be 21 or older. Age rules for poker rooms in other states vary.
Can I join if I have a criminal record?
If you have a criminal record, please contact us before you enroll. Gaming is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the country. Every dealer has to pass a background check and be registered or licensed by their state's gaming regulator, and certain convictions, especially felonies, gross misdemeanors, and crimes involving theft, fraud or dishonesty, can keep you from being approved. If your record would prevent you from being licensed, we can't enroll you. We will never sell you a program you can't use.
Every case is different, and some people are approved after appealing or requesting a hearing with their state's gaming regulator. If you're in the process of clearing your record or appealing a decision, email proof to info@dealpoker.net and we'll talk through your options. We're not lawyers; for advice about your situation, speak with an attorney or your state's gaming regulator.
Is this only for the WSOP?
No. A summer at the Series is a great way to travel and earn, but we train complete, versatile professional poker dealers — ready to deal tournaments and cash games in any poker room, anywhere, all year round.
Will this get me hired at the WSOP?
No training program can promise that — hiring decisions belong to the WSOP and each poker room. What we do is get your dealing to the highest professional level. Every student finishes with a final audition, and the certificate of course completion is earned only by showing extremely proficient skills in every part of dealing a live game. We don't just hand out certificates: our graduates carry our name on their sleeve every time they deal, and we're passionate about making it mean something.

Do I have to go to meetups?
They're not required, but we highly recommend them. There's no substitute for dealing a live mock game: fellow students throw in chips, set up tricky scenarios and play hands while you get real time in the box, and every dealer needs that experience. Dealing is also a social job, so practicing with real people at the table builds the people skills you'll use every shift. We encourage every student to set up meetups with students near them.
